Application: Huntar

Application: Huntar

Postby Nahiri » Mon Jan 22, 2018 2:41 pm

Hello! First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ashley, everyone calls me Ash or I guess Pixie as that's my character in the guild. I'm a kiwi living in Melbourne with my otterhalf and know both Val and Tamlyra. Easy going, chill and relaxed that's me! Friendly and easy going to get on with! ( or at least I like to think so! ) My current progression: https://www.wowprogress.com/character/u ... emar/Feyre

Character Name: Pixiestick gnome hunter for your punting pleasure!

Battle Tag: Thalia:#11737

Character Class and Spec: Hunter at this stage BM but I would be willing to give MM a go.

Offspec and relative proficiency: none at this stage but will most likely be marks. I would say I am average but my gear is very lacking.

Your timezone: Melbourne, Australia? Sooo server time I think?

What rank are you applying for? A DPS rank please!

Are you applying for one of our advertised vacancies? (Which one?) Yes I am!! Ranged if at all possible!

Have you discussed your application with anyone in game? Do you already know someone in the guild? Yip! I know Val and Tam! and would love to get to know everyone else and hopefully make a new home none the less!

If applying for a Core rank, can you make our raid nights with 80% attendance? I will put this before anything else. I have a muscle separation hernia from a tumor surgery I had a couple of years ago now which is midline on my stomach ( one pregnant women get ha ) It can effect me if I am not on top of pain killers. But its been having as of late but I always give plenty of notice. Attendance should be above 80%

Do you have Discord (or are you able to install it)? I have discord installed!

Are you able to, and comfortable with talking over voice communication software? I tend to be a little shy at first till I get to know voices and people but I am more then comfortable speaking on voice communication software

Tell us a little about your previous raiding experience. Well! I started raiding back in Vanilla during molten core on my shaman. Stopped for a little while and played casually during BC and started raiding again during ICC healing. During Cata I was in a top ranking heroic guild on Dreadmaul. After shifting to a more casual approach to raiding at the end of Cata I raided and master looted throughout Mop and WoD. Primarly as a healer (shaman/Monk) or enhancement shaman.

Why did you leave your previous guild? I am still in my current guild on my main, but I need a change of pace something more quiet and possibly a better suited raid environment and from what Val and Tam have told me Fidelity sounds like the perfect place!

Why do you want to join <Fidelity>? Hoping to find a place to belong again, somewhere nice and easy going and friendly.

What can you offer <Fidelity>? I am a very good person, and I get on with anyone willing to help anyone with quests and dungeons!

What do you think <Fidelity> can offer you? I hope a new home ^_^

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Given that our illustrious Guild Leader has thoroughly dropped the ball in replying to a new recruitment application with the internet equivalent of a girly squeal of delight, let me have a crack at it:

Hi Pixie/Huntar,

Thanks for your application.
It will be discussed in guild and we will endeavour to be in contact with you shortly.
Although let's face it, with solid references from Tam and Vel, you're a pretty good chance.

Thanks,
Esta

What would we do without your level headed, professional demeanor, Esta?

You are our rock.
